One day while my mom was visiting I got this crazy idea to pile everyone in the car and go for a drive to Long Island. The Hamptons are on Long Island so I thought maybe we could rub elbows with the rich and attempt to see some beautiful homes and maybe even a celebrity or two. Well I was in for a very LONG journey and too stubborn to turn around I kept going but it took us almost 4 hours to get there and don't even get me started on the drive home. But we did mange to find this fruit stand with a play area on the drive in and I think it made the trip somewhat of a success.

Grimaldi's and the Brooklyn Bridge

Brooklyn Bridge

After playing at Coney Island we decided to finish the day by picking up a pizza from the famous Grimaldi's under the Brooklyn Bridge and eating it at a park that was just around the corner from the pizzeria. The buildings behind us are of Manhattan.

Coney Island and New York Aquarium

My mom came out for a visit in August so we decided to check out Coney Island and the New York Aquarium for the first time. Coney Island is in Brooklyn and its pretty much a pier that has multiple small amusement parks on it. We all had such a good time. Well, maybe I take that back. Memphis DID NOT like the rides as you can see from the picture so he took his nap while Merrick and I rode on all the rides even the super scary rides.
