Where's that California Sun

We are sooo ready for that California Sun but, it just does not want to come out! Merrick is finally old enough to ride on a Wee Ride as you can see, but it's been too chilly to go out so we've just been practicing in the drive-way.

Today we took Merrick to the park to play with his good friend Ryley.

Here's Ry- Ry letting us know that Merrick got up on the stone alligator all by himself. He climbs anything that doesn't move and will try to climb anything that does move. Especially if you lay down on the floor in front of him and let him dog pile you.

Let's get to know each other

Hellooo everyone! This is the Donovan family and we are so excited to have a "Blog". I'm thinking that for starters I'd like to catch ya'll up to where our family is today so bear with me and here we go.

We went to a Dodgers game in '06 with Grandpa Hewitt when they played against the Giants. We had a blast!!!

Here's our little guy at around hmm... maybe 4 months. He found his feet so whenever that is.

Now this is definitely 4 months at the zoo with mama. My hair was super long because of being pregnant and nursing so in May around Mother's Day of '06 I just wanted a fresh look so I cut off all my hair and got a mommy doo.

Here's our bubby boy on Halloween (2006) when he was 9 months old. He was this giant pumpkin and let me tell you the costume was too, cute. Jessy, if you're out there, it is all yours hun for little Trev man.

Merrick's first ride

Here's Merrick's very first car. He just got it. He was so excited when daddy was putting it together that he sat in the driver's seat and Sean had to assemble the car around Merrick. It felt like Christmas morning because we were all in our pajamas while Sean was putting the finishing touches on it before he had to rush off to school. I think that this weekend we'll give it a nice little car wash when we wash our cars. :)
