A day in the life....

Oh yeah! This was a Lemon Meringue Ice Cream Pie in a Toasted Pecan Crust which I was able to tackle for Easter dinner and all I have to say is that it tasted as fabulous as it looked.

These Golden Irises, bloom in our garden every Summer and they are so beautiful. When I took this picture there were only one or two but now there are like five blooming and they just make gardening that much more fun to do.

Let me present to you, not only two very adorable kiddies but, also, my living room. It was invaded with toys and Merrick's only 14 months old I just can't believe how many toys we have. So I got to work....

and this is what I found. This pile of toys was just what we had in the living room!!! Let me tell you, the beast within was definitely released because for those who know us well, know that our living room is teeny tiny and I had had it with the toys! Ahhh
Here is a shot of the living room after it was cleaned and de-toyed. I moved that big pile of toys into Merrick's room, I don't know how but I did and I even rearranged the furniture. It doesn't make my place any bigger but I don't feel as claustrophobic as I use to, thank goodness!

That pie looks amazing! I've been wanting to bake lately, but Shaun is not eating sugar (other than his sugary cereal) so I'd have to eat it all by my self, no fun.
I got more fabric, I'm way excited about it. It's so cute. I could go crazy in there. They've got an amazing selecton. Hasta manana!
