Swaps
I joined an online swap group that's composed mostly of stay-at-home moms who are into different types of crafts. The group is called Bits of Goodness on Yahoo and these are two of my first projects. The top one are needle felted babies wrapped in a knitted blanket (the swap was for a Nature Table- Waldorf inspired) and the second was called a Surprise Swap so anything went for this one and I made Spring motif using embroidery floss, Japanese fabric and colorful buttons. These have already been sent out to the host and now I'm waiting (very anxiously) to se what I'm going to get. I'll post it here, of course, whenever it comes.

Fixed
I got a phone call from my mom the other day after she viewed the last post about the beanie and she suggested I put a pom-pom at the end if I ever wanted to make the beanie for Merrick (which I think I just might have to do) but for Sean she suggested turning the point in so voila I have finished my very first beanie. My mom is amazing at crocheting. She has made me about 5 little girl dresses so far for my future daughters and I can't wait to post them on here (by themselves or on my daughters, I can't wait) we are just waiting for the right or should I say perfect buttons. Off to etsy. Good night!

The Beanie
As some of you know I've been trying to knit a beanie for Sean for sometime now and finally finished over the weekend only to find out that the pattern I was told to do by a friend was the one pattern that no grown adult male would ever wear in public. I was hysterically laughing as I was casting off because it clicked in my little brain what I was creating and I knew that Sean was going to be at a loss for words. We laughed together (for a long time) and then I put it aside (where it's still at to this day) until I can figure out how in the world I'm going to fix it.
