Kindergarten

Merrick started Kindergarten this year at Canalino Elementary School in Carpinteria, California. He has Mrs. Keturi and she is the SWEETEST teacher I have ever met. She has a piano and a guitar in her class and uses music as a form of teaching. Merrick has just barely started making friends with some of the kids in his class ( Miguel and Isaac) and I am so glad because for a while I thought he was going to boycott all things Kindergarten, he really misses his friends in New York, so do I :0(

Mafia Car

This little beauty is the car we're driving these days. It was a hand me down to Sean's parents and so when family comes into town this is the car they get to drive. It's suppppperr long and the trunk is humongous. We joke about it being a mob car.

Sean hates it but I told him that maybe with a car wash it might not look so bad.

Here it is with a car wash. DRAMATIC difference, I know.
