Merrick started Kindergarten this year at Canalino Elementary School in Carpinteria, California. He has Mrs. Keturi and she is the SWEETEST teacher I have ever met. She has a piano and a guitar in her class and uses music as a form of teaching. Merrick has just barely started making friends with some of the kids in his class ( Miguel and Isaac) and I am so glad because for a while I thought he was going to boycott all things Kindergarten, he really misses his friends in New York, so do I :0(

Im sure he will make friends fast. Luckly for us when we bought our house, the couple next door had a boy starting kindergarten too. We put the boys in the same class this year. Christopher loves that he already had a friend. Hope he is liking K
