Who's cute kids are these?

Love these guys.

Apple of his eye

Leia has Merrick wrapped around her little finger. He loves to carry her around the house and she loves it too. He reads stories to her and hugs her so tight that sometimes she has to scream for me to come rescue her. The other day he was carrying her around the park and then put her down on a porch thing and walked away. She didn't know what was going on but then he came back to her with all his friends and they took turns playing with her. I still have to remind him to be gentle but I think he's finally (maybe) starting to understand what the word gentle even means.

Kayaking at the University Club

After the husbands took their Unified test back in February we headed over to the University Club to hang out at the pool and then sauntered over to the beach and took out the free kayaks they have there. It was such a fun day, the kids really enjoyed it.

This little munchkin is going to be 11 months in a few days and then a year old in about 5 weeks, I honestly can't believe it. We LOVE and adore her and I really just can't imagine my life without her.

2012 Garden

We started a small garden this year in the backyard and I'm pleased to report that some things are growing. We planted some "beans" not sure what kind, they only said beans on the brown paper bag so they could be green beans, kidney beans, black beans I mean really the possibilities are endless but because they sprouted first before anything else we're really proud of our little mystery beans. I also made some starter plants in this egg carton and so far everything has sprouted except for the habanero chili's. From left to right we have carrots, tomatoes, celery and red beets. We have also been enjoying grape fruit, star fruit, wax apples and a lot of bananas from our yard. We also have coconut (which my landlord calls jelly?), papaya, mango, avocado, oranges and some other Caribbean fruits that are new to me like bread fruit. I really love having access to all this fresh fruit.

Caribbean Living

This is our house in Grenada. It's a two level duplex. Our landlord, Keely, lives upstairs and we live downstairs.
