Handmade/ Homemade

Homemade Spaghetti Sauce

Buttermilk from hand mixing cream

Homemade Butter and Bread

sewing

making skirts

making your own patterns for skirts

knitting

quilting

stuffed animals (Amy Butler pattern on website)

Baby Food

Frozen jam

I've been playing around with homemaking lately and these are a few of the things I've made. I've also made deodorant, lip gloss and laundry detergent (Sean was not crazy about this one). It's been fun to play around with the idea of being self-reliant and not having to rely on the big stores for everything.

Okay. Wow! I don't think I ever thought about homemade lip gloss and de-ordorant before! Does it work well? Crazy. But really, your boys are gonna think that every mom is this amazing! I love it all. Thanks for sharing and inspiring. :)

I love the circular quilt! you should do an etsy shop selling this cute stuff. I've been trying to keep up the sewing myself and boy is it a lot more difficult with a little guy running around :)

I really like the circle blanket. Is it a pattern, or did you make it up yourself?
