Cute little onesies
This is what really got my nesting going. My mom and I found some neat iron-ons at a JoAnns in Thousand Oaks so she got me some for Christmas and I've been dying to put these little onesies together. I started with the iron-ons and then added some buttons and voila the perfect onesie for my cute little soon-to-be Memphis.
I also made these little tie onesies that will be perfect for church. You can pretty much iron on anything on anything with this stuff called heat-n-bond lite that you can get at JoAnns. You can cut out any picture you want with the fabric, iron it on your material and then sew the edges of the picture. Sewwww easy!!! hahahaha
Here are a few up close. They are even more adorable in person. Being pregnant I don't think I have the energy to mass produce them and sell them somewhere but I do have the energy to prepare for my little guy's arrival and I just can't wait to put these puppies on.
Merrick helping mama pick out some buttons. He loves to get into my sewing stuff especially the pin cushion with all my pins in it. I always try and include him to make things more fun like which buttons should I use and what onesie does he like best. I've got some iron-ons for Merrick but I can't seem to find inexpensive t-shirts his size so as soon as I get my hands on some nice, inexpensive t-shirts he'll be my next target.
Nesting
I've been sewing up a storm in order to get ready for Memphis' arrival. Here is a hooter hider I made for a friend. It was my first one ever but it ended up being easier than I thought so I'm going to make a few more for some expecting moms and one for myself of course.
Here's where Memphis is going to sleep for the first few months in our bedroom. I made this little blanket to go on top of the sheets. I also put Memphis' car seat in the car just to get it off the floor in our apartment but, people keep asking if I've had the baby already so I'm thinking I might need to take it back out. I still have 5 weeks to go but I'm trying to get as much done as possible.

Life on the farm
Or maybe it's just me, the crazy third trimester, 42 days to go mama with a 2 year old that has way too much energy for his own good and me just trying to keep him entertained for one more hour before bedtime only to start all over again the next day. But, then again moments like this make it all worth it.

Snow Fun
Our friends invited us up to their cabin this past weekend for some fun time in the snow. I was pretty much useless due to my girth but I did go sledding one or two times and I took a lot of pictures. Here are Merrick and Sean on one of the sleds. Merrick loved going down the hills he kept telling Sean "again, again" and "more, more".
I love this picture. It got pretty warm out there, by the time we were done playing in the snow Merrick had taken off his jacket, beanie and mittens.
Sean was really working hard to find the tallest of the tall hills and Merrick was pretty much pampered the whole time getting free rides up and down those hills. But in the end, it was all worth it because Sean was Merrick's hero that day and days like that just don't come often enough.
Family Time!!! This was the only picture I got of us, so, sorry it's kind of blurry. I always feel weird asking people to take my picture so I don't do it too often, which is why I still don't have any profile pictures to post (good or bad). But take my word for it I'm pretty BIG. 44 Days to go. Enough said.
